The choir’s musical director and conductor Shalom was born in Jerusalem. The son of a violinist the late R’ Kalman Kinnory who greatly influenced him and inspired his musical love. Shalom pursued a musical education and was taught by well known teachers : Ron Colton – Maestro, Yisrael Edelson and Professor Max Stern. From an early age he engaged in conducting children and adult choirs across the country ( including the ‘Zimrat Ha’aretz and ‘Benevel’ ) and accompanied the greatest cantors like Benzion Miller and Naphtali Hershtick. Shalom recorded a number of albums and participated in many musical and diverse projects ( Chasidik, folklore and cantillation ) and appears with his choir on stages around the country and the world.
